Chloe
Chloe started her career in animal care at a local shelter, where her passion for animals grew. This experience inspired her to pursue formal education at Pima Medical Institute where she became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Chloe prioritizes low-stress handling techniques to create a safe and comfortable environment for all pets under her care. When Chloe is not at work, she enjoys reading a good book, exploring the great outdoors through camping or hiking, and crocheting. Chloe has two rabbits, Maxwell and Lola Mae, that she loves to spoil and teach them new tricks.
Cayla
Cayla was born and raised in the PNW. She has always had a love for animals and knew early on she wanted to pursue her passion in animal care. Cayla is currently attending PIMA to earn her Veterinary Assistant certificate and then move on to her Associate’s degree to become a Veterinary Technican.
Hannah
Hannah graduated in 2022 from WSU with her bachelor’s in animal science. She has been working in the veterinary field for the past couple of years as a veterinary assistant and joined the Reber Ranch team in August of 2023. Hannah has a deep passion for caring for animals and is working towards studying veterinary medicine at WSU in the future.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her cat Cleo. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends whether that be camping, paddle boarding, or playing a video game/board game. Lastly, one of Hannah’s favorite shows is The Office. So if you ever find yourself in a game of Office trivia, she is your girl
Anijah
Anijah was born and raised in Southern California. Her mother introduced her to animals and nature documentaries at a very young age. By the time she was four years old she told her mom she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated in 2018 with her associates degree for Veterinary Technology. In her down time she hangs out with her loving fur baby Chai Tea Latte. Besides animals she loves reading, swimming, and trying new things.
Alivia
Alivia enjoys reading, playing video games, and having board game nights with her friends. She has 6 animals; 3 dogs one being her dream dog a corgi named Zelda and 3 cats. In 2023, she got married and bought a house with her husband. She decided to get into the industry due to her love of animals and is incredibly excited to be a part of this team!
Alexa
Alexa graduated from PIMA with her Veterinary Assistant Certificate and completed her internship right here at Reber Ranch. Previously, she had worked in large animal care but wanted to pursue a more formal education in the animal world. She has always had a love of animals and has a few of her own including 2 cats, 10 chickens, 3 horses, and a goat named Bow. When not at work or school, you will find her riding one of her horses, doing barn chores, or reading a book.
KAT
Kat grew up with plenty of animals around which sparked her love for them. From pet retail to being a bather she’s loved all opportunities to work with animals! She recently moved back home to Auburn from Colorado with her two dogs. Oakley her long haired “xl” miniature dachshund and Beans who is a cha-weenie. When she’s not in class at university, she loves doing any kind of art and crafts, reading and hanging out with her pups.
Tanjerrae
Tanjerrae, a native of the Kent/Renton area, embarked on an adventurous journey by randomly selecting a new city, leading her to San Antonio, Texas. It was there that she decided to fulfill her lifelong passion for the animal field, culminating in the completion of her Veterinary Assistant certification. After nearly five years in San Antonio, the pull of Washington brought her back in December 2023. Tanjerrae has always been an avid animal lover, demonstrating this from her childhood days of bringing home stray cats to her adult efforts in rescuing animals from various situations. She currently shares her life with her two loves, a 20-pound Tuxedo kitty named Oreo “Double Stuffed” Cookies and a heavily spiced Chihuahua/Red Boston Terrier mix named Toffee Cake. Beyond her dedication to animals, Tanjerrae enjoys dance walking, participating in open mics and poetry slams.
CASEY
Casey is a dedicated groomer originally from Oregon, with three years of experience. Specializing in grooming aggressive and fear-reactive dogs of all sizes, Casey has developed a reputation for handling even the most challenging cases with patience and skill. Driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of animals, Casey aims to provide every dog and cat with the compassionate and caring grooming experience they deserve
SAMI
Sami was born and raised in the PNW on Vashon Island before moving to Tacoma to attend Pacific Lutheran University. She grew up with dogs, cats, and even snakes and stick bugs but her professional animal care journey began in 2018 when she started dog walking and sitting. Sami ended up working for a breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs who were show dogs and took on the roles of raising the puppies and taking care of the mothers. She even began learning to groom them for show, which is how she decided that dog grooming would be the next step in her career. Sami moved to Tennessee in 2020 and began training under groomers with 10+ years of experience.
She also adopted her two dogs in Tennessee- Minnie, a German Shepherd mix who was heart worm positive and pregnant when she showed up in Sami’s backyard one day, and Betty White, a sweet little 5lb Maltese-Chihuahua mix. She learned the importance of patience and compassion when earning a dog’s trust, which are now qualities she strives to bring to work with her every day. Sami feels there is nothing more rewarding than helping a nervous dog gain confidence for grooming and earning their trust.
MATI
Mati has been passionate about working with dogs since her first job in 2014. Since then, she has worked hard to improve her skills and become a full-time dog groomer. She enjoys working with the pets that are more nervous and loves to see them relax and blossom over time through compassion and positive reinforcement. She owns a chiweenie named Mindy Magoo. In her spare time, she likes to take care of her plethora of indoor plants.
SANDY
Sandy was born and raised in the PNW. She is currently enrolled in school to become a Veterinary Technician and is so excited to learn new things. When Sandy is not working you can find her spending time with family or with her three cats (Arya, Amelia, Eevee). If Sandy isn’t doing that she is spending time exploring nature, in the kitchen or arts and crafts. Sandy is excited to meet new clients and their animal companions.
GEMMA
Gemma graduated from the Assisting program with PIMA medical institute in 2022. She has loved all animals her entire life but specifically cats and is owned by three of them; Emma, Opal and Stewart. Gemma enjoys working hands-on with all animals and learning new things every day. When she is not working she enjoys riding her longboard, camping, baking, working on cars with her boyfriend and visiting family and friends.
MIKELE
Mikele joined the team in March 2023. She loves going to zoos, shopping, and reading. She has always wanted to be a Veterinarian and loves animals so she decided to join the veterinary team. Her favorite animal is the sloth.
Alex
Alex was a licensed hairstylist for 10 years and after raising my 5 kiddos, finding different unique hobbies, and looking for her purpose, she decided that it was time paths and started school to become a Veterinary Assistant. She has always had a strong love for animals and having had so many she has always wanted to help the ones that couldn’t speak for themselves, giving both the client and patient the best most wholesome, and positive experience. When not at work, she enjoys doing tattoos, going to concerts and hockey games, and doing hair for family and friends.
MEI
Meiko has been with us since October 2022. She grew up in the Maple Valley area, and has traveled all over Washington. She loves spending time with her Australian Shepherd “Neko”, or any of her four cats. Other than her love for animals, Meiko also has a love for art, nature, and traveling.
Natalie
Natalie started grooming in 2020 but has been working with animals since 2015. Her animal care career began as a receptionist in a veterinary hospital – since then, she’s worked as a kennel attendant, veterinary assistant, dog bather, and now as a certified pet groomer. She is currently completing her veterinary technician license with Penn Foster but intends to continue grooming. Her soft spot is with Huskies, having a 4-year-old husky named Lily at home. On her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and hanging out with her little brothers.
ATHENA
Athena has been grooming for 5 years, and she loves all dogs big and small. She has two of her own- Cinnamon and Maple. Athena has a soft spot for Golden Retrievers and Aussies like hers!
WILLOW
Willow entered the Veterinary world at a young age, volunteering at a small clinic at 14 and animal volunteer work in the community. She started 4-H at the age of 8 and continued all through school. She grew up on a farm taking care of and loving goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, alpacas, and horses.
Willow has a special connection with goats as she was part of the ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association), where she professionally showed goats she owned and others.
Willow returned to the Veterinary field in 2020 professionally as an assistant where she soared and loved working in surgery, dental exams, and medical exams. She has two young kids; a girl and a boy and is now living in Enumclaw with her family and dogs, Mya and Paisley. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and swing dancing!
DR. KYSHEE RIZZO
VMD, MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Kyshee Rizzo is originally from New Jersey. From a young age, she had a passion for the care of animals. She attended Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her B.S. in Animal Bioscience. She then went on to attend veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Dr. Rizzo spent a year working at a specialty and emergency hospital in Delaware. She has a strong interest in internal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Rizzo relocated (with her two dogs and two cats) to Washington State in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and swimming. She is enjoying exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer! Dr. Rizzo is also a member of a book club and especially enjoys reading historical nonfiction books.
DR. JARED O’CONNOR
DVM
Dr. O’Connor grew up on a small farm in southeast Minnesota and was active in 4-H, FFA, band, and choir. He attended the University of Wisconsin at River Falls where he double majored in Animal Science and Biotechnology and went on to the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation, he spent his first year at a multi-doctor practice in rural Virginia, where he had many amazing experiences. He then moved back to civilization and started practicing in Seattle and Lake Stevens before joining the Reber Ranch team in 2014. His many interests in veterinary medicine include pain management, dentistry, emergency medicine, and plastic surgery.
DR. CHRISTINA THOMAS
DVM
Dr. Christina Thomas grew up in a small town on the Palouse and pursued her undergraduate, master’s, and veterinary degrees through Washington State University. Throughout undergraduate and her master’s programs, she tried moving to different places like San Diego and New York, but she always found herself coming back to the Northwest. She is very excited to be making Western Washington her new home! Her favorite way to pass the time is any type of outdoor activity with her two dogs and her friends. She enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, mountaineering, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and the list goes on. Dr. Thomas has a passion for small animal medicine, particularly surgery and ultrasound.
DR. APRIL MONTGOMERY
DVM
Dr. April Montgomery hails from the East Coast. She grew up in northern Virginia before heading to New York City as an undergraduate. She earned a B.S. in Biology with honors from St. John’s University in 2016. She then moved back to Virginia and graduated with both a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2020 from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA.
Looking for an adventure, Dr. Montgomery moved to Washington immediately following graduation. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and rock climbing. She also enjoys cooking and yoga. She is excited to explore the Pacific Northwest and welcomes any and all recommendations!
Dr. Montgomery enjoys working with both dogs and cats. She has special interests in behavior, fearlessness, preventative care, internal medicine, and surgery. Dr. Montgomery understands that pets are more than just animals—they’re a part of the family. The best part of her job is fostering the human-animal bond through client education and treating each patient as she would treat her own pet.
DR. AMALIA ACORDA-FEY
DVM
Dr. Amalia Acorda-Fey is a Northwest native, born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Her life-long love for animals began at an early age, with the adoption of her first dog from a local shelter and a trip to volunteer at a renowned rescue organization (Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah). At the University of Puget Sound, she earned a B.S. in biology and was an All-American member of the women’s soccer team.
Throughout her undergraduate degree and after graduation, she enjoyed volunteering at local shelters and working at veterinary clinics. With her desire to pursue veterinary medicine solidified, Dr. Acorda-Fey went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University.
A few of her many areas of interest include preventative care, dentistry, and ultrasonography. In addition to the medical side of veterinary practice, she values the important connection between pets and their humans and is honored to be a part of these caring relationships. Dr. Acorda-Fey is excited to return to beautiful Western Washington and is making the move with her dog, Lottie, a comical Border Collie mix adopted in Idaho. She loves to camp and hike, play soccer, cheer for Seattle sports teams, and support local restaurants.
CURTIS
DIRECTOR OF PET SERVICES
Curtis has been in the pet services industry since 2013 and has a passion for providing outstanding care to animals and building strong relationships with their owners. He grew up in Tacoma and has had pets since he was young. He made his way into the veterinary field after adopting a terrier mutt named Beans who inspired him to make a difference in the lives of pets. He and his son share their home with their goofy Pomeranian rescue, Fig. In his free time, Curtis enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, gaming, and volunteering with Whale Scout. He has a special affinity for small, scruffy dogs and has been dubbed The Chihuahua Whisperer by the team, which he takes as a compliment.
COURTNEY
PET SERVICES MANAGER
Courtney grew up in the Pacific Northwest, started in the veterinary field in 2002, and has been working in the pet services industry ever since. She knew she wanted to work with animals from a young age when she did a report on spaying and neutering in elementary school, much to the teacher’s dismay and the stuffed animals’ horror. When not working, you can find Courtney spending time with her son, husband, two dogs, and goats, or working with a local Pitbull rescue.
Ashlyn, LVT
Ashlyn grew up on a mini farm in Kent, loving and caring for a variety of animals both large and small. Ashlyn attended PIMA Medical Institute to pursue her passion for caring for animals by becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has been an intregral part of our team since 2015. She enjoys spending time with her Chihuahua Taco, whether it’s going for a hike or relaxing at home.
JACOB, LVT
Jacob’s love for animals started growing up with two St. Bernards, Bernie and Barney. Since then, he’s grown up with dogs and cats and decided to pursue a career in Vet Med. Jacob attended PIMA to be an LVT while working as a veterinary assistant – and graduated in 2013. While the technical aspects are exciting, Jacob says the best part is being hands-on with anxious pets while making them feel comfortable and happy! When not at work, Jacob and his wife wrangle twin 6-year-old boys! They also have an old man chocolate Labrador named Loki, who still acts like a puppy most of the time. Some of Jacob’s hobbies include playing all golf sports (stick, disc, and foot), hiking/trail running, and watching football (GO HAWKS!). Jacob is extremely excited to be part of the Reber family!
JENNIFER, LVT
Jennifer is a licensed veterinary technician who graduated from the veterinary technology program at Pierce College in 2001. She joined Reber Ranch veterinary hospital in June 2020. Jennifer has worked in the veterinary profession since 1994. She has a passion for veterinary dental care and became a member of the American Veterinary Dental Association in 2006. Her hobbies include mountain biking, camping, hiking, and long-distance running. She is the proud mom of a spunky kitty named Woody.
STEPHANIE, LVT
Stephanie joined our team in 2017 – she is our lead technician and is an absolute rockstar. She grew up on Long Island and then moved to Binghamton, NY, where she worked as a zookeeper for 5 years. In 2016 she relocated to Washington with her now husband Kevin and their cat Eva. Her goal is to one day work with exotic animals, hopefully at Woodland Park or the Point Defiance Zoo. In her free time, Stephanie loves hiking, playing video games with Kevin, exploring Seattle, and reading.
KATE
Kate recently graduated college with an animal science degree from Angelo State University. She has 4 dogs, 2 labs and 2 terrier mixes. Growing up she loved animals and has always wanted to have a career in the animal industry. She loves to read, play video games and spend time with her pets.
MICH
Growing up along the picturesque Georgia coast, Mich developed a profound love for marine animals and the ocean’s wonders. Her childhood was filled with beach explorations and a passion for rescuing stray animals, often bringing them home to care for. During her formative years, she gained valuable experience as a kennel attendant, dedicated to animal care. The turning point in her journey towards veterinary medicine was when her first beloved dog as an adult fell seriously ill, requiring emergency care. Feeling helpless and distraught, unable to alleviate their dog’s suffering, she resolved to pursue veterinary medicine to ensure she would never again be in a situation where she couldn’t help a beloved animal in need. In her free time, Mich enjoys spending quality moments with friends and taking her dogs on adventures wherever possible, cherishing the joy of outdoor activities and the companionship of her furry friends.
SAM
Sam graduated from PIMA medical institute in 2018 and currently studies at WSU. He has been in the veterinary field since graduating but has been working with animals longer than that. He has three dogs: Naruto (Shiba Inu mix), Hunter (Husky), and Makima (Australian kelpie). He also has two cats, a leopard gecko, a mouse, and a Betta fish. In his free time, he enjoys art, photography, and going to conventions and cosplaying from shows, anime, and video games.
DEVEREAUX
Devereaux was born and raised in eastern New Orleans, Louisiana where his love for all things animal caused him to bring all manner of critters home from his frequent adventures in the surrounding bayous and woods that bordered his home. He studied Biological Sciences in college and operated a successful small business raising and breeding exotic wildlife for 15 years while traveling the country through a typical military lifestyle. He entered the veterinary world in 2021 and came to Reber Ranch in 2023 to join the reception team. When not at work, he enjoys spending his time with his menagerie of animals that includes cats, dogs, snakes and lizards. He loves animals, from the scaley to the furry and from the big to the small.
SHELBY
Shelby joined the Reber Ranch Team in August 2021. Shelby started with us in the grooming salon as a pet bather before growing into a position as a veterinary assistant in our hospital. She grew up on Lake Tapps and is currently living in Auburn. She spent most of her childhood playing sports like soccer and volleyball, and is also an avid snowboarder. She is currently attending Green River College working towards studying veterinary medicine at WSU. She has always had a strong passion for helping animals. Shelby spends her free time playing video games and card games with her family, and of course with her dog. She has a chocolate lab named Ranger, a cat named Coco, 2 bunnies, and 3 horses.
TOBY
Toby started working at Reber Ranch in July 2022. He’s happiest surrounded by animals and has had dogs, cats, leopard geckos, gerbils, and a rabbit. Currently, he lives with his very spoiled cat, Jiji. Toby is currently studying to fulfill his dream of becoming a veterinarian. When not working or in school, he enjoys taking care of his plant collection.
SYDNEE, LVT
SAVANNAH
Savannah has worked in the veterinary field for almost six years. She has a 13 year old boxer named Kahn, and a 5 year old cockapoo named Karma, not to mention a plethora of other creepy crawlies and critters in her home. Savannah has rescued all her animals and would not want it any other way. In Savannah’s spare time she enjoys paddle boarding, spending time with her pets, and collecting oddities for her home.
JILL
Jill lives on a small hobby farm in Maple Valley with her husband of 29 years and a variety of animals. She dedicated her life to raising her two children and then her love for animals led her to pursue a career in veterinary care. Jill started working as a veterinary assistant in 2014. She began her career providing support to pets at an emergency care clinic but enjoys the long-term relationships she is now able to develop with clients in a primary care setting. When not at work, Jill can be found hiking with her husband, throwing a ball for her black lab Guinness, or making memories with her grandson.
HANNA
Hanna started working at Reber Ranch in September 2020. She graduated from the Pima Medical Institute in 2019 from the Veterinary Assistant program. Hanna has loved animals her whole life, and the first pet she had was a cat named Hunter. She now has a cat named Whiskers who loves to cuddle every day after work. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her cat, Whiskers, making things with her two 3D printers and occasionally playing video games on a Nintendo Switch. She hopes to continue working in the veterinary field for many years to come.
ADAM
Adam joined Reber Ranch in August of 2022. Prior to this, Adam spent the last 10 years in the restaurant industry. Adam is the proud parent of two cats but grew up surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, and all types of rodents. In his spare time, Adam is slightly obsessed with Star Wars.
BRITTANY
Brittany, or “Bee,” joined the Reber Ranch team in November 2022. Bee has 2 cats – Stevie and Wallen. She is a lover of all animals – she would pet an alligator if it wouldn’t eat her! When she is not spending time with them she enjoys concerts, painting, playing games, and trying new things.
NAKIA
Nakia joined the Reber Ranch team in January 2023. Her love for animals stemmed from taking care of several animal companions since she was 5. Her passion and love for animals has continued to grow since then. She cannot imagine life without animals. In her spare time, she watches birds in her backyard, at the park, etc. She also enjoys crocheting and painting landscapes of places she has visited.
LACEY
Lacey has worked in a variety of communications positions for over 10 years and is ready to have more animal care included in her daily life. When not at work she enjoys going on new adventures hiking and catching the sun on her face, you can bet she always has a furry friend to go with her. Lacey doesn’t have her own dogs yet, but likes to explore with her friends and family dogs. If you don’t find her at the desk she is probably asking to pet someone’s dog.
SARAH
Sarah joined Reber Ranch in April of 2023. A lifelong PNW native, Sarah is originally from Vancouver WA but made the jump up north at the start of 2020. When she’s not hard at work, she can be found spending time with her two dogs Ellie (Lab x Border Collie) & Arthur (Belgian Malinois x Greyhound). Sarah loves backpacking and is planning her first overnight backpacking trip with Arthur for summer 2023.
MELISSA
Assistant Manager
Melissa was born and raised in Washington. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals. In 2014, she got her Veterinary Assistant certificate and has been in the Veterinary field since.
Melissa joined Reber Ranch in September 2020 and is so excited to be a part of the team and get to know all the clients and pets!
When she’s not at work, she spends her free time with her kids, dogs Blitz and Chancellor and taking care of her indoor plant jungle. She is a lover of all things animals and is looking forward to helping you care for your pets!
Ryssen
Ryssen was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii. He moved to Las Vegas in 2020. Ryssen really wanted to travel the world, so he landed his dream job as a Flight Attendant in 2020. He then moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2022 and flies for Alaska Airlines. His favorite city to visit is Guadalajara Mexico. When he’s not flying in the skies, he enjoys spending time with his Goldendoodle named Lilo. Ryssen wants to continue to explore his career within the Veterinary industry.
LISA
Lisa originally joined the Reber Ranch team in 2015 and since then has been helping out at the hospital when we need some extra hands on board. She currently has six large dogs (a GSP, a mastiff mix, a GSD, and two pit bulls) and is a crazy dog lady who loves all her adopted pets, especially her service dog Pig who goes everywhere with her and can be found snoring under her desk whenever she is here with us. Lisa loves whenever she can spend some time here at the veterinary hospital getting to see all of our clients that she’s gotten to know over the years.
ANNA
Anna joined Reber Ranch as a Grooming Receptionist in June 2022. She has been working with animals since the age of 12 by walking dogs in her local neighborhood. She’s continued to work in pet retail, dog bathing, and doggy daycare to help expand her knowledge within the pet field. When Anna is not working, she loves exploring nature and visiting different places throughout the PNW. She enjoys bringing her dogs; Apollo (Husky Mix), Luna (Shepherd Mix), and Estrella (Cattle Dog Mix). Anna’s favorite things to do with her dogs are hiking, camping, and learning/foraging mushrooms.
FENDI
Fendi has been in the grooming industry for 6 years and has been a certified groomer since 2016 and joined the Reber Ranch family in the spring of 2017. She loves to hand scissor Goldens, Australian Shepard’s, and Pomeranians as well as giving a dog a good shed-less treatment! She also has a soft spot for wired hair terrier mixes, as she has one at home named Spazz! They do everything together. But she loves all doggies no matter how Big or small. In her free time she loves to practice her creative grooming on her own dog and enjoys learning new recipes for her cookbook and learning about mixology, as well as seeing all the latest blockbuster movies and anything scary related as her favorite type of movie is a scary one but the most important role she has besides being a groomer is her role as Aunty to her 9 nieces and nephews with 4 whom she sees on a regular basis which keeps her busy at all times.
SHELBY
Shelby has always had a strong passion for all animals, dogs being number one on that list of course! She has been in this industry for about 6 years now. Starting off as a vet assistant, and although she loved what she did. She wanted something with more one on one time with each amazing pet she gets to meet. So she went to apprentice under a certified master groomer until she was ready and confident enough to groom on her own. Shelby will always take your pet’s safety and comfort as seriously as she does with her own 3 senior dogs. She has a black lab and two chihuahuas and plans on getting a poodle to eventually compete with as well.
TRACY
Tracy has been grooming since early 2016 and recently moved to Kent from Issaquah. She has a poodle named Rex, a cat named Bells, and three snakes. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and gardening.
ASHLEY
Ashley has been grooming for 13 years. She loves grooming scruffy terrier mixes and has a soft spot for senior dogs. Ashley doesn’t like to think of herself as someone who just works on dogs, she works with dogs. Outside of grooming, she likes to go on hikes; go rockhounding, and paint. She also spends her time being a mom to her beautiful daughter.
SAVANNA
Savanna started her grooming career in 2015. She has four dogs: Peaches, Domino, Cooper, and Pepperjack. She loves to travel and hike with them. She loves working with all dogs but has a soft spot for our senior friends.
LORI
Lori has been in the Dog Grooming Industry for more than 20 years and has incorporated her profession into her hobbies. She enjoys attending dog grooming seminars and expos and exploring the world of creative grooming. Prior to grooming, Lori worked in the training department at “Guide Dogs of America” in Sylmar, CA. During this time she raised three puppies into dogs, who later completed the formal training program and successfully became Guide Dogs. Her other hobbies include cooking, barbecuing, and spending time outdoors.
JESSICA
Jessica joined the Reber Ranch team in November 2022. With 10 years in the grooming industry, Jessica has combined her love and compassion for animals with her artistic side to provide exceptional service to your pet. Jessica specializes in small dogs of all ages but has a special place in her heart for senior pups. Her calm demeanor helps her provide a safe and relaxing experience for your senior and anxious pets. Jessica has two dachshund mixes named Nibbler and Butters and enjoys taking them on hikes and camping trips.
MEAGHAN
Meaghan joined the team in August 2022. She was born and raised on the island of Guam and relocated to Washington in 2015. Her brother has been a vet since she was 7. He would always bring home the cats and dogs he was treating, and spend day and night with them until they were all healthy and ready to go back to their families. Ever since then, she has always had a love for animals and is a proud dog lover. She currently has a very handsome Shih Tzu and has worked with dogs for 3 years. She can’t imagine doing anything else other than working with animals!
ABBIE
Abbie started with Reber Ranch in October 2021, starting on the retail side of the store before moving to the grooming salon in April 2022. Her history in animal handling includes volunteering at an animal shelter for five years, helping exercise and rehabilitate the dogs there, including the rowdier pups. She also worked for three years as a pet caregiver, taking care of all sorts of animals, from dogs & cats to small animals, and even some birds & reptiles.
Dogs have been a huge part of her life, ever since she was 8 years old when her sister first got a dog. She loves all animals and adores having a job where she can get doggie snuggles and kisses every day! When she is not working, she loves spending time with family & friends, or listening to music/watching tv while snuggling with her adorable chiweenie, Jellybean.
KYLIE
Kylie has been with Reber Ranch since 2014. She grew up in Bonney Lake and now resides in Puyallup with her husband, Trenton, and 3 furry family members. She has an American Pitbull Terrier named Oz, an APBT mix named Tara, and an orange tabby cat named Willow. In her free time she likes spending time with family (she has 15 nieces/nephews!), true crime, horror movies, and music.
BECCA
Becca joined the Pet Central team in October 2022. She started her career in grooming at the age of 16 working with breeders who showed Wire Haired Fox Terriers. Not long after turning 18, she entered the grooming world and over the course of four years trained to be a groomer. After working for various salons she finally opened a successful business grooming and ran that for 13 years before selling so she could focus on what she loved most without the stresses of owning, and grooming dogs.
She is a mom to three Pomeranians, and they have her heart. Her favorite breeds to groom include Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Springer Spaniels, and Schnauzers but has been known to fall in love with a few mixed-breed dogs as well.
In her spare time, she collects and vends Funko pops and can often be found in the local malls or at conventions.
ASHLEY E
Ashley started her grooming career in March of 2018. After two years of bathing, drying, and helping maintain the well-being of countless wonderful pets, months of training, and perfecting her skills under several professional dog groomers during her time in her first grooming salon, Ashley picked up her own talent and skill working as a dog groomer. She always strives to give your pet the very best experience and loving care a groomer could possibly offer, as well as maintain a healthy and communicative relationship with their owners. Her heart has always held a particular soft spot for bulldogs and any breed with those lovable wrinkles, much like her own old English Bulldogge Dahlila. Ashley also has 3 cats by the names of Appa, Adora, and Rebel as well as a Miniature Long Haired Dachshund named Scamp who is a total mama’s boy. In her free time, Ashley enjoys experiencing the outdoors with her partner and their furry kids going hiking, camping, rock hounding, and traveling with family.
